WHAT WE DO
Access All Areas is an annual film festival featuring increased access for people with a disability. Every year, it presents a showcase of new Australian films around International Day for People with a Disability (Dec. 3rd). The screenings provide access services including captions for the hearing impaired, audio description for the visually impaired, increased wheelchair access, AUSLAN interpretators.
The festival tours to:
Access All Areas promotes inclusion and raises awareness around issues of ability and access. It aims to demonstrate how easy it can be to make cultural life accessible to all.

- cinemas in Sydney and Parramatta;
- community centres and disability groups around NSW and across the country;
- schools around NSW and across the country;

WHO WE ARE
Now in its 4th year, Access All Areas is organised by non-profit company The Festivalists Ltd, and sponsored by Ageing, Disability & Home Care, Department of Family & Community Services NSW.
The Festivalists Ltd was created in 2005, and is based in Sydney, Australia.
The Festivalists are specialists in film festivals and cultural events organisation. This non-profit company exists to showcase the talents of under-represented filmmakers and artists and to develop audiences for their work in Australia. Our goal is to facilitate the promotion of the international film and video culture, to raise the profile of independent films in Australia and to present work that enriches cultural diversity and experience for all audiences.
